The following positions are jobs that need to be filled for the summer seasonal positions.
Position Pay Rate
Lifeguard - Red Cross Lifeguard training certification required. Pay $7.25/hr. +
W.S.I. - Water Safety Instructor training certification required. Pay .25¢/hr additional if teaching required lessons. .10¢/hr if not teaching
Deck Patrol - Red Cross First Aid & Community CPR Pay $7.25/hr
Gift Shop / Float Stand Attendants - No certifications necessary Pay $7.25/hr
Cashiers - Various positions available Pay $7.25/hr
Emergency Medical Technicians - EMT certificate required Start at $7.25/hr
Concession Stand Workers - No certification required Pay $7.25/hr
Food Manager - Some experience or training perferred. Salary is based on experience. Min. $9.00/hr
Assistant Food Manager - Some experience or training perferred. Min. $8.00/hr
Ground Crew - This is mainly an outdoors sometimes physical position. Consists mainly of grounds maintenance and building clean up. Pay $7.25/hr
Office Positions - Part-time summer office positions. Office skills necessary. 32 - 40 hours / week Min $7.25/hr

The positions listed above will have a flexible schedule due to the fact that they are involved with a seven day week extended hour operation. Hours will range from 25 to 40 hours per week. Employees will work many weekends and holidays.

*Day Camp Counselors - Red Cross First Aid and Community CPR/AED training required. Must have the ability to work with children ages 6 - 13. This is a very active program and many activities are outdoors. Employees must be responsible but enjoy recreational indoor and outdoor activities. This program is great for both males and females. It is a good training ground for teachers and recreation majors but is not limited to those areas. Pay - $7.25/hr

*Discovering Teen Camp Counselors - Red Cross First Aid and Community CPR/AED training required. Must have the ability to work with children ages 10 - 14. This is a hands on learning program that covers many different topics. This is a fun program that uses hands on techniques and includes recreational activities both indoors and outdoors. Employees must be responsible and enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities and hands on teaching of fun activities. This is a great training ground for students with teaching majors. This staff develops their own schedule of activities and gives them the chance to try what they learned and have classroom activities ready for their own classrooms. This is a great experience for both male and female students to build their portfolios. Experience helpful but not required. Pay - $7.25/hr.

*Day Camp Secretary - Red Cross First Aid and Community CPR/AED training required. Must have the ability to work with children ages 6 - 14.  Must be able to perform secretarial duties, including but not limited to filing, problem solving, talking to parents, using computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Wordperfect.  Responsible for entering child enrollment information and payments in data base. Basic math skills are necessary.  This position will have an earlier start date and will work around school schedule until end of semester.  Pay - $7.25/hr. 

* Applicants for these positions must be at least 18 years old. The positions above will have a Monday through Friday schedule. They will work 40 hours per week and will have a set daily schedule sometime between the hours of 6:20 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. May 18 to August 1.

* A bonus of $.25/hr. worked paid if employee starts at the beginning and stays through the end of the season.

APPLICANT INFORMATION

*Applicants for these positions must be at least 18 years old. Must be certified in American Red Cross First Aid/Community CPR/AED.  Must pass a drug test, Criminal and Sex Offender Background Investigation and take a TB test.

*These positions will have Monday thru Friday schedules.

*They will work 40 hours per week and will have a set daily schedule sometime between the hours of 6:20 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
