Energize Evansville to Host Basketball Workout with Bosse High School Basketball Teams

Mayor Lloyd Winnecke invites the community to join him at the Bosse High School Gymnasium,1300 Washington Avenue, on Saturday, February 18, from 9 to 11 a.m. for Energize Evansville’s free workout. This month, Energize Evansville will feature a basketball workout with both the Boys & Girls basketball teams of Bosse High School.
Members of both basketball teams will lead participants through a basketball workout. Everyone is encouraged to attend and exercise at their own pace.

Energize Evansville is a health and fitness program launched by Mayor Winnecke as part of his health initiative to give individuals support to transform their lives through physical activity. The program is held on the third Saturday of each month from 9 to 11 a.m. at a different city park or venue and features local fitness experts leading group exercises for all ages.

The next Energize Evansville free exercise session will feature “Walking at the Zoo” where participants will have the opportunity to walk with realtors from throughout the city. The March event for Energize Evansville will take place on March 18 at Mesker Park Zoo.
